Looking to swap out the mk3 radio for the 3.5 radio in the misses car she’s got 2014 Octavia, what steps do I need to take to swap them over is it a straight swap both the screen and box in the glove box or is there coding to be done.

I got an emissions system warning light on a trip to Prague recently on my 186,000 mileage 2016 Skoda Superb 1.6 TDi Greenline. The car drove fine, all the way back to London. My diagnostics tablet indicated a glow plug fault on Cylinder 1. When I clear the fault it returns within a day or two, usually after a cool morning start. I already have torque wrenches, a socket set, a set of large circlip pliers and penetrating oil. This morning I've ordered a Bosch glow plug (BOS0250403009) from GSF,

I really don’t know where to start, I had an Octavia 1,4 from 2014 best car ever everything worked perfect for 12 years unbelievable and now the wife wanted a SUV type car so we went for the Karoq 1.5 sportline 2025 in hope that it could only be as good as the Octavia, but sadly NO. Infotainment is really CRAP, can’t save profiles so every time I start a trip I have to go in and set everything up, the excuse for this “safety and fuel economy”, every time I drive the car there is some kind of po

Which suspension parts can contribute to brake judder?

Hi, I get a judder on moderate to hard braking from higher speeds (such as on motorway slip road). Discs look clean and are not particularly worn and there is plenty of material on the pads. No calipers are sticking either. The car has done over 150k miles however so suspect it might be worn suspension components (for example I understand BMWs can be very sensitive to wear on some control arms which can cause them to judder under braking). Hi guys I am having a strange issue with what feels like the rear end of my mk3 vrs (multilink) When driving along, the car "tram lines" and feels loose at the rear. When I put the foot down to overtake someone, the car torque steers violently as I change lanes. Its on new Bilstein B8 dampers, new eibach springs and all the bushes have been replaced and 4 wheel alignment has been done. Results below. It also has new ball joints, drop links and track rod ends up front. Anyone any ideas? im
