cheapest coilover's for octy 4x4?

Featured Replies

hi guys i have been thinking of upgrading my suspension, what is the cheapest coilovers i could get for my 1.8t octy 4x4?

thanks

I think if you fit the cheapest coilovers you will be downgrading your car from the standard springs on there already.

I am guessing Jom's will be about the cheapest.

Loads of different makes here, sift through and see what fits your car and your pocket Larkspeed

very good point, what about lowered springs, because all it is i want the octy to sit lower as the 4x4 are so high

Have a look on Larkspeed, they do a lot of different types of set ups, if you look at Eibach they do just springs as do Sachs.  It took me ages to settle on what to buy for the Golf, I went with GAZ GHA's in the end.

How do like your GAZs' ?

On paper they look a much better option than weetec/kw v1

I only ordered them last weekend, however, I was impressed when I got a phone call asking what my car is like? Is it stripped for the track? Is it a standard road car? Will the majority of your driving be done on the road or the track? and so on, after answering all the questions I was told my suspension would arrive in approx four weeks as they will be made to fit the car information I had just given.

From that point alone I am quite impressed, once they arrive I will post up in my thread "V6 do'er upper"
