Annoying rattle discovered at last.

Featured Replies

Now one month into ownership of my Octy 2 estate and each little rattle and squeak has been put right,by myself,, Except one. An annoying rattle coming from the rear nearside. After another sweep of loose trim in the rear I came across the culprit... The seatbelt release button "things" (I cannot think of the right name right now!!) . On the nearside in the rear they are back to back and upon close examination they had already marked the plastic where they have been rattling like a pair of castanets! A little stick on felt pad did the trick. I now have a lovely quiet car which is makes my previous car (VW Passat 130 Tdi sport) positivly mediocre by comparison.

nothin worse than a rattle why your drivin.
