Eonon C1203 7" Double 2 DIN HD Car DVD Player

Featured Replies

Has anyone got on of these stereos or the 'Milion' version? I know there not an incredible brand, but have heard mainly positive things from reviews.

I fancy a change from my Sony tune tray which will be for sale soon by the way!

Will it fit in a MK1 Furby for starters!? The installation size is 180mm x 165mm x 100mm

Is that a normal size for dbl dins?

Thanks for any feed back!

Eonon don't get the most glowing reviews in the BMW world, that much I know.

Can't help much more though, sorry!

Well I've measured what I believe makes sense and it appears to be a standard size!

I used to have an Eonon unit fitted to my vRS. Not a bad unit if you go by what you get, but is cheaply put together. I purchesed a G2216 unit (C1301E on the Eonon website) which is pretty much exactly the same unit as the link you posted. I got it off Ebay from the seller "Audigishop" and I urge anyone to avoid like the plague.

It will fit, but you may want to re-consider buying one though as the GUI failed within 6 months of having it installed. When I went to make a warranty claim, they initially wanted me to pay them £30 for a slightly different machine as they no longer sold the G2216 (despite the replacement having a lower RRP to mine) I refused this as I felt I should not have to pay ANYTHING to have a replacement unit sent as it was their inferior product that failed, but they didn't agree.

They eventually "found" a G2216 but it was in Hong Kong and that they would send it, but did not tell me that it would incur import tax, so I was left with a £90 bill from TNT.

My advice would be to save up and get a proper double din system as you will be left disapointed.
