I had the drivers rear window regulator break, I have bought an aftermarket window regulator but it only has 2 wires where as my cars regulator wiring harness has about 10 wires ( i have nt counted ! ) Can it be wired in ok ?

I bought an ebay regulator repair kit and it lasted about 2 weeks.

Going to Skoda to price up a proper one now

or remove the old motor and fit it on the new one if it fits.

Buy genuine. I've had a couple of ebay repair kit failures.

I have told the ebay seller i want to return the regulator, I am annoyed as i asked first if the wiring would fit but it does nt !

 

 

I think once i get my money back i will buy an second hand original assy.

Just been to Skoda dealer - OEM regulator is £60

They are less than £50 inc vat from TPS... genuine.
