I need your help.

The motor and cable have both decided to die on my electric window in my drivers door.

Does anyone here know the part number/s required for me to get a new kit?

I have a mk1 octavia vrs.

Dint know the part numbers, but unless you are absolutely sure of the fault check the wiring where it comes through next to the hinge.

I've still got a spare (rear) regulator and motor in the cupboard :P

I'm in need of the whole mech including the rails in which the window slides up n down.

The teeth on the motors cog rounded off, which caused the pulley to spin un controlled, twisting the lifting cable n freying it.

 i know this sounds daftbut how do you know of you need the whole kit?

My front passenger side widow whirred twice , then a grinding noise, and would only power down.

 checked it today, and found a broken cable assbly in the inside the door card.

did you find what you needed?

If you look on ebay there is kits but i think for sake of messing about its easier just to put all lt in,

 

My passenger window died other week and i took door card off tonight and cables snapped so going to price a new regulator up tommorow
