Brake lights again!

Featured Replies

I pulled into sainsburys earlier and a guy told me my brake lights weren't working. This happened a few months ago as well, but that time I had glow plug light flashing and it was the brake light switch. I replaced it myself and has been fine until now. This time there was no warning lights, and the fuse is fine.

I did feel something click earlier this morning on my way to work when braking and I'm now wondering if I've broke the switch somehow. 75 miles later I'm amazed no one has smacked into the back of me.

Anyway. If anyone has had similar issues and has any advice it would be much appreciated.

Check your switch has not popped off and pushing the full unit up when you brake, but regards to your brake lights recently I've had a few blubs in and they keep going on me? But I put it down to **** bulbs put some daft led halfords bulbs in and they haven't gone for ages!!!

Well I tinkered with the switch to no avail, but I've been to Ecp and bought a new switch which seems to have fixed the issue
