How do i get the old badges off and replace with new style?

I've got the new badges ready to go on but I'm having trouble getting the front badge off the grille, are there screws or clips I need to release 1st?

No worries I've got it off now, just needed a little encouragement with a screw driver. Pics to follow!

Now the original rear badge is ever so slightly convex and the new badge (1ST 853 630 AAUL) is complete flat, it is also quite a bit bigger so does not sit in the hollow as the original. I'm concerned that the sticky stuff behind is not going to have enough surface area to stick to, has anyone had this issue and come up with an answer?

Doh just found out that I need part number 5J0 853 621 A AUL not as above. Oh well phone call to Skoda Monday morning me thinks!
