Superb2 Boot/ Hatchback won't open

Featured Replies

Gday all, Any suggestions to fix the above problem would be appreciated. Original solution by Skoda dealer was new boot latch but this did not fix the problem. The hatchback and boot release micro switches are both working but not activating the electronic switch in the boot latch. Does this mean the controller is at fault? I also had a new battery fitted at the same time and now only the driver's door unlocks. My Australian owners manual does not show how to resolve this issue and the European handbook that I downloaded is deleted off my computer and I can't access through the links on this great site. Any help would be be appreciated. Thanks

Problem solved by auto electrician. 2 wires broken on lhs of boot that connected to locking mechanism for boot/tailgate assembly. My Superb built Dec 09.
