So I said i'd start a project thread before this car really runs away with me! So far there's too much to even add with all the pictures i have but here goes!

I have this car since January of this year, and i absolutely love the thing!

So the evening after I brought it home it looked like this, bad pictures i know! i'll add good ones in a separate post ;)

As you can see upon close inspection you'll notice the paint is in a pretty dull condition, i suspect a life of brush car washes!

But dull paint doesn't last long for me, I want shine!

The wheels were also in a bad shape, but no buckles or cracks.

The bumper had scuff marks on the bottom, so i sanded it down, primed and repainted it in genuine black magic.

Painted calipers red as the skoda green was almost non existent, and matching that green would be a pain in the ass!

Now for a better picture of my baby, I was just after a photoshoot with a mk5 golf here, so while my car was parked nicely I said i might as well take a photo of her sitting nicely! It would be rude not to! ;)

Thanks Rob! There's tonnes more photos to go through, no point spamming though we all know what they look like! ;)

Sits perfectly!

Thanks! I adjusted it just over the wheels before tracking, not too low, but definitely low enough! :) I love the aggressive look to these cars, face down ass up!

Cracking car!!

What products did you use to make it shine? I have a black one and it looks cack.

Iron x on the alloys?

Good guess! Then clean them down afterwards then used wheel wax on them! They need to be done again though!

sweet car bud, i wont change my mk1. as well as updating the bonnet and boot badge, the wheel caps are a great purchase also (£8.60 each) , sets off the wheels nicely... also i have bought a 5th one for the steering wheel centre, in the process of fitting it. it's the slightly (MM) too big, but fits.

Yeah I love mine too! I must refurb the wheels and get those centre caps too, its all in the plans though. They're a great car!

Thank you! I'm impressed with all the positive comments it's getting, its alot more than i expected! :)

looks good mate, nice work

Sits exactly how it should, perfection! Never used to like single round exhausts, but that one, it looks spot on. All it needs in my opinion is black grille and lamix-d headlights.

Any part number for the badges???
