Advice on Citig

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, my wife and I are thinking of swapping her Fabia se plus for a citigo 60ps se. Would just like to know if they are as good as they appear or is there any problems with them.

Cheers

Relatively new car so might be too early to tell of any significant problems.

We have Elegance 75 and no problems here - fantastic little car.

hi

got the same, I have the panoramic roof and have had problems with the blind, but all fixed under warranty but have a feeling it could go again

I know its a cheapish car but I find I have problems with the paint - seems very "thin" got a few chips, and a cracked mirror housing.

apart from that all's fine with the Go

I've got the Elegance 60ps Citigo. Had it for over a year now. Haven't had much going on to worry about.

Just a noise coming from the back left which was fixed at the dealers.

Couldn't be happier with it really, lovely car.

Thanks, test drive on Monday.

we have a elegance 75 greentech on order (due 1st sept), been into dealer today to confirm a few things and get a confirmed price  on SWMBO's mk1 vrs we are part ex'ing

this will be SWMBO's 4th skoda and our 7th skoda, all have been good reliable cars, but the last few cars do seem to have been a little less polished and the options are more in "packs" rather than a true mix'n'match as with the first ones.

but they are still excellent value for money and cracking cars

if you get the right dealer the support you get is fantastic and service first class, but there are some shocking dealers out there. if you are unlucky enough to find a poor dealer there are plenty of others out there, just because you buy a car from a dealer doesn't mean you are stuck with them vote with your feet / wallet

Nothing but good things to say about our 75ps Elegance

Done it, had a long test today of a 60ps se 5 door, I liked it, SWMBO loved it. It felt very modern and nippy compared to our 1.2htp fabia. Anyway a white 5door se with winter pack is ordered for 1st September delivery, both of us can't wait!!

Nice one.

You've made a wise choice.

They are quite nippy around town, comfortable on a long motorway run, and altogether good fun to drive. Sat nav, air con, heated seats, stop start,  what more do you want?

Enjoy it. They're great little cars -the only thing I don't like about the Citigo is the lack of reach adjustment of the steering wheel for long drives.

my partner has one, and it never fails to suprise me every time i'm in it how good they are! small cars have moved on :)

You've still got the old-fashioned reach adjustment of altering the seat position. :giggle:
