bit more black smoke than usual?

Hi to all. I have a mk1 fabia vrs no engine mods. Can anyone think of why it would be smoking quite a bit more than usual. I replaced the turbo around 20 thousand miles ago its just turned 70 thousand so miles arent too high. still under warranty so its booked in a week on monday to get this checked out so no problem if no one can help. Just wandering if it could be a simple fix. Thanks

Dont know much about engines like but isnt loosing power and its ALWAYS run on shell vpower. Ill get the air filter checked out though cheers. would a boost leak make it loose power?

Probably the warm weather. Warm weather = poor combustion as the air isn't very dense

Yer I was guna say this hot weather too, mine is producing alot more hazey smoke in it.

Yup, Hot weather and possibly a dirty air filter.

Your performance probably seems a little down on normal too.

Fabias arent fans of the heat. Mine is stock as well and been noticing a bit more smokeyness in the heat, but nothing noticeably wrong with boost leaks or the like.
