Can someone identify these callipers please?

Featured Replies

Got a bag of callipers with my car when I collected it. I didnt really ask much other than are these off of a Fabia and was told no.

Are these octavia callipers or Fabia?

Or something completely different.

If someone could identify what they are that would be great, cause they're just sitting in a bag doing nothing when they could be being put to good use.

:)

Those lucas front calipers are deffo not 312's

312's are ATE calipers

Google the part numbers from them

I think they are 280mm front calipers.

What's on the front of your car at the moment? I ask as they look a bit like the original ones to me, so somebody may have already put ATE ones on the front.

Standard Fabia vRS calipers. Got one in front of me right now.

Great opportunity to clean, paint, and refurb to replace, if original sets of calipers are still fitted to car?

Thanks chaps, yeah I think I will clean these up and paint them.

I dont know what callipers are currently on my car, I just assumed Fabia VRS calipers as they're green. I'll check the front disc size.

I don't really want these, would anybody like them for cheap ? :)

if the original ones are on the car, the vRS ones wont fit without changing to vRS hubs though I think.

I couldnt sell a set for £50 off a 33k mile car back in the day

I have vrs calipers and all VRS hubs too

This is a spare set that I dont know what to do with

What is the VRS front disc size?... currently on my car looks rather huge

288mm

Its easy to spot 312's on a fabia vrs with standard wheels

They look HUGE behind the alloy and there is literally very little space for them

Just measured one of the discs that I have spare and it was 288mm. I'm pretty sure this is what is on the car

Got a bag of 4 288mm discs lyring around too.

So then, these are just normal Fabia VRS callipers.

Dont know what to do with them. I suppose, just clean and paint them for spares I suppose

No point cleaning and painting them for spares, as you'd need new hubs etc if you were to go back to them.

Not sure what to say about the discs, guessing they are probably OK, on the other hand maybe warped??

As regards the calipers, I suggest you put them up for sale to the highest bidder.

It's such a great opportunity to clean/paint and refurbish all the calipers at the same time.
