Hazard Switch Problem

Featured Replies

Ive read about the common problem of the hazard switch needing to be replaced to make the indicator work properly....

Ive seen three prices....

Euro Car Parts @ £9.00 and £28.95

GSF @ £29

Skoda @ £35

Any advice.....cheers

I did have a spare but I can't remember if I gave it away or not. I am away with work so won't be back till weekend to have a look.

So in summary if you wait a week on the chance I still have it you could have it for free. Probably not the best proposition ever.

Thanks for the thought mate!

I have reserved one at ECP but i will see if its in stock with my local dealer in the morning.

i'd do hand signals for a few days on that chance...

First thing to do is spray some contact cleaner into the base of your indicator switch and work the switch. I replaced the hazard switch and mine still played up. Sprayed the indicator switch and its all good now.

Personally I'd go for the skoda one, for some reason aftermarket electrics don't last long in vags. I went for the skoda one last year
