air conditioning

Hello

I bought a 22month old Octavia. The air conditoning condensor failed due to corrosion. I had to fight Skoda/Dealer to accept responsibility. I eventually had it replaced free of charge. It is apparently a known problem within  VAG but they are failing to aknowledge it

Welcome to Briskoda. :) I have heard of plenty of air con compressors failing but don't recall any mention on this forum of condenser corrosion. I will have a look and see if I can find any.

My condenser failed and was replaced under warranty without argument, 2 year old Yeti.

Ditto, 20 month old Octavia, was a "manufacturing defect" causing a slow leak of refrigerant

Regards all

John
