My 58 plate TwinDoor doesn't have fog/DRL combined lights; it only has fogs. Is it possible to retro-fit the combine fog/DRL units?

Yes. You will of course need new fog lights, a BCM which supports the feature and to route two new wires from the BCM to the fog lights. Parts can be bought at Skodateile ex. When fitted, VCDS coding is needed. It´s not a hard job.
