Skoda Fabia passat cc aerial no signal?

Featured Replies

Hi I have bought a passat cc aerial for my car, the little shark fin ones, it's a genuine vw aerial no silly cap lookalike ones but I still can't recieve a signal, my dad said maybe try a signal booster but would this make a difference as at the moment as at the moment I have no signal? Just wondering if anybody has done this or can help please :)

The Passat CC has Fakra connectors on it doesn't it at the aerial. The Fabia I doesn't so how have you connected it?

Snipped the wire next to the connector and soldered the fabia aerial connector onto it so it plugs straight in

Why would that be may i ask please?

Could your not have bought some form of adapter?

Soldering one type of aerial lead to another very rarely works well.
