Hi I have bought a passat cc aerial for my car, the little shark fin ones, it's a genuine vw aerial no silly cap lookalike ones but I still can't recieve a signal, my dad said maybe try a signal booster but would this make a difference as at the moment as at the moment I have no signal? Just wondering if anybody has done this or can help please

The Passat CC has Fakra connectors on it doesn't it at the aerial. The Fabia I doesn't so how have you connected it?

Snipped the wire next to the connector and soldered the fabia aerial connector onto it so it plugs straight in

Could your not have bought some form of adapter?

Soldering one type of aerial lead to another very rarely works well.
