Hi

Picking my new Citigo up from the dealers tomorrow, so I'll be lurking round this area of the forum from now on if that's ok

I was initially going to lease one, bit decided to buy instead.

Bit of a trek down from Sheffield to Dorset, but got a big discount so it will be worth it.

Hopefully be calling at the mega meet on the way back up the country on the Sunday.

So excited...first brand new car ive ever bought :)

Got a great deal, but unfortunately the dealer offering it was 5hrs from me!

Got to get on a coach at Sheffield at 1.45am and should get to Bournemouth for 10am

Gonna be a long night but worth it

The missus is coming with me so we'll get a hotel and call at Gaydon on the way home Sunday.

So looking forward to tomorrow morning

Michael the salesman is one of the nicest guys ive ever met, and the whole buying experience was 10 out of 10

I will be going back to Michael again for my next car, it was well worth the trip

Even threw me a Skoda fleece in for free (well he invoiced it at 2p lol)

Great guy and great buying experience

What kind of discount did you get? It must have been good to go all that way for the car.

I was offered a good discount with my Smart from a dealer down south 200 miles away before i bought it,however my local dealer only 4 miles away matched the discount,so obviously i purchased the car from them.

I got my Rapid from Michael at Westover too, but their old showroom.

 

I would echo what you said - I also travelled 200 miles each way to get the Rapid because they had it up at a very good price. It was all very smooth and simple.

Had a look round this today.

 

Have to say it looks great and the little styling extras the Sport model has over the standard range are well thought out.

Front splitter and extended spoiler in particular really suit it.

Is the car only available at that 'Special Price' if you take the finance package shown ??

 

If so it's more or less like paying list price with the 0% offer currently on  :think:

I contacted the dealer,and yes the cars are pre reg.

The price is the same for cash or finance,and they only have 2 cars left.

I have noticed quite a few dealers have pre reg cars on offer at the moment,so they can get their dealer bonus by registering the cars to meet their targets.
