Looks great :)

Was that with a spray paint or wrap?

Oh shiny!

Not sure about whether I'd do that myself, but it looks like a job well done and does look nice.

What paint did you use and what prep process?

It's painted . I did all the prep work wet sanding then laying down 4 coats of white plastic primer then left for three days and wet sanded to a smooooth finish.

The next stage went a wee bit wrong as I was spraying in my garage and it bloomed owing to moisture in air . So wet sanded again and decided to cut my losses and let a pro do the final coats and laquer

It looks brill thanks for the comments (sorry my initial post makes it sound like I did it all)

Did you do the door card inserts?

I like gloss black but it does attract dust!

Looks great . Nick P did the same by putting the inserts from an L +K. This looks easier

can you buy the inserts from skoda and how much would they cost for the estate

Like the shiny thing!!

Oh yeah and...

Elvis has left the building only to be found in an Octy! Good taste!! Deep fried cheese burgers all round!!!

You can buy the inserts I priced them and without the centre dash surround I had got to £90 quid then you need to buy door cards as the trim on them is plastic welded at the rear so that's why I had a wee go myself

To be truthful it would have been easier buying the trim as it would have been a lot less work but this was cheaper

Regards whoosh

would be a good idea just to wrap them in a gloss carbon look

nice same color in thenew golf mk7

I did try that but for my skill level too many holes/different levels and wee fiddly bits I wrapped the door cards and side by side the painted trim is the bit better.
