A/C fault codes help

Featured Replies

Can aynone help with the following?

A/C on GF's Octavia II has never worked since we bought it a couple of years ago with about 100,000 miles on it.  She has never been bothered until recent hot weather (shocker I know!).

Anyway, had it re-gassed which (a) didn't get it working and (b )made the car have a hissy fit and threw up loads of warning lights on dash etc.  I wasn't present for this, so no idea what was done.

Now have the car back with the following faults in VCDS

01810 - Actuating Motor for Temperature Flap; Right (V159)
            000 -  -
01272 - Positioning Motor for Central Flap (V70)
            000 -  -
00716 - Air recirculation Flap Positioning Motor (V113)
            000 -  -
00229 - Refrigerant Pressure
            002 - Lower Limit Exceeded

Have tried running basic settings, but does not make the faults stay away.

Last one seems fairly obvious, but annoying as had it re-gassed.

Any ideas, or best take it to a Skoda dealer?

The last dtc about refrigerant pressure was on mine, the high pressure switch. I had to change it and cured the problem. Did you clear the rest of the codes?.

There is a way to reset the flaps , involves the econ button and lower right button ,(?) I think

Same on mine. I replaced the pressure sensor, you could actually blow right through the sensor and out of the top electrical connection!! I guess that explains where the gas escaped from.
