What size rims are best?

Featured Replies

hey i own a skoad fabia 1.4. can i put 17 inch on my car.. with these rims do i need low profile tires or will regular will fit.....

I will have a set of 16" Fabia vRS wheels coming up soon if you are interested. In answer to your question 17" will fit but that would be about the limit without modification.

To ensure your speedo, etc. is accurate, you'll need to maintain the same rolling radius of the wheel...therefore if you increase the size of the rim, you will need to decrease the profile of the tyre...

I use senditquick.com ,up to 30Kg for

Putting in rims at a size than is more than factory spec is not always a great idea, especially with weaker powered cars like a 1.4. It slows the car down. Looks good, but say bye bye to nippiness.
