Any help with locating pulse wire, its been a taxi before so maybe wires can be found, heads up where to look would help, Dash, Engine, Glovebox.. ect

Don't they take it from the clocks or stereo?

Wired up     + and -      straight to battery(fused)

but still cant find speed pulse wire any ideas

You would need a wiring diagram but if it's had a meter in before they usually tape them to the surround trim, remove the gear gaitor and take out the ash tray they usually run the wires through there.

You would need to have the meter calibrated to the car aswell, unless it came out of the same make and model.

Yeah getting meter calibrated next week £10, guy from ayrshire, just trying to save abit on meter getting fitted, all fitted except pulse so will need to get him to do it.

When I removed mine from the top box the pulse wire went into the back of the instrument cluster somewhere. I didn't remove the cluster so I just cut it and taped it up behind the headunit.

They plug into the socket behind the dash, 5 minute job taking the dash clocks out, putting the wire in and putting it back. All you need is a 20 or 25 torx screwdriver.

I fit a lot of these amongst other things I do.
