I think that certain ffoc members were getting a little too defensive there...but that adam a guy just seems like a total knob...he doesn't like Skoda's because of the badge and has said so on other ffoc threads - kids these days :confused:

I've got a Focus and I do like it a lot, but I can't argue that bengie's Octy isn't put together better, smoother, quieter and even when standard it was quicker

I've played with Foci, watch out for the decatted, Bluefinned ones. They are quick and on a track, they are quicker than you - it's fun though, especially with a diesel

F*** dat. We used to have a Taurus over 9 years ago, when my father bought it brand new, the gearbox broke. Got it repaired, a week later, broke again. Repeat.

Sold the car 2months later, never thought of buying one again.
