On a similar theme to the Gold Cup post, is anyone going to the British Superbikes round at Oulton Park in a couple of weeks? I'll be there both Saturday & Sunday - normally park out by Knickerbrook as it's often easier to get in/out compared to the main entrance.

Unfortunately no as I can't get time off that week end but I went to the last round at Oulton and watched from Knicker brook but from the inside of the track.

I will be attending the moto go at the end of August at Silverstone to watch Marquez and his mates do battle.

I usually go but this year our holidays start that weekend.

I was tempted to do that and drag some mates along to share the petrol cost ... then I looked at the ticket price  Maybe next year!

Go on Saturday, just as good and a lot cheaper than the Sunday, I have even gone on the Friday for free practice, blagged my way in for free.

Agreed, I've been going to each BSB round at Oulton for a while now, some excellent views... One of my faves from my trusty old (now stolen :( ) DSLR

 

I tend to hang around Druids, where the shot was taken, also on lodge and deer leap, I tried from the outside of the circuit last year from old hall corner shooting through the fence, it was OK but not great.

Shutter speed was too high on this one so it looks parked, but I like the oulton park in the BG.

 

Nice. Yeah I tend to gravitate towards lodge if I'm wanting to take photos, I tried from the elevated footpath going up towards Warwick bridge once, lovely clear views but just rubbish for taking photos of any note :( 

 

Although this one did come out quite well .... (this was a lower class though, superstock if I remember rightly)
