In the back of my mind, I'm sure I've read somewhere that all mk2 that came with DSG also had ESP fitted as standard.

 

Is this correct?

 

I've had a search but can't really find anything.

My 2010 Elegance 1.8 TSi DSG had ESP with hill hold but no TPM.

 

I am pretty sure that the ESP package was standard fit with the DSG and not an optional extra.

 

Looking in the 2010 Octavia brochure it is a little ambiguous - but good quality brochures were never a Skoda feature.

 

Under the Octavia S is states ESP to be standard on 1.4TSi and 1.8TSi - NB no mention of diesels

Under the SE and Elegance it only gives spec over the S/SE. so no mention of ESP at all.

VRS, L&K, Scout, 4x4 models show it as standard

 

In the factory fit options it lists ESP and then states that it is standard on all VRS, L&K, Scout, 4x4 and DSG models.

I know mine is a pre/FL and an Irish one at that but I had to spec ESP onto my DSG.

Not all of them. My 2006 2.0 TDI DSG L&K does not have ESP.

 

Perhaps it is the case from a certain model year.....but not 2006!
