2013-07-25-sporty-special-editions_20130Just as the Fabia Monte Carlo, the ŠKODA Fabia Combi Monte Carlo pays tribute to the 112-year successful motorsport tradition of the brand. The special edition is based on the ‘Ambition’ equipment set up. Its special dynamic is not only characterized by the standard sport suspension but also through the vehicle’s striking appearance. It includes black plastic panelling in the lower part of the chassis, black shiny B-columns and black, ‘Comet’-design, 16-inch alloy wheels. The main headlights are highlighted in black, plus the grille and the side mirrors are painted black, as is the roof railing. The windows are tinted (‘SunSet’ package).

“The success of the ŠKODA Fabia Monte Carlo is evidence of our customers’ desire for custom cars,” says Eichhorn. “With the ŠKODA Fabia Monte Carlo and Fabia Reaction we are putting more emphasis on our model campaign.”

The Fabia Combi Monte Carlo is available in eight different colours: corrida-red, brilliant-silver, candy-white, magic-black, cappuccino-beige, sprint-yellow, steel-grey and race-blue. All engines currently offered for the Fabia are available for the special edition.

The interior of the Fabia Combi Monte Carlo also features a sporty design. The motto here is “black is beautiful”. The roof liner, dashboard, carpet und door covers are all in black. Sport seats in black-red or black-grey design are fitted as standard. They are complemented by a small leather package: the 3-spoke steering wheel, hand brake grip and gear stick are finished in leather sewn in red thread. The pedal covers are made from stainless steel.

LIkely UK ones will be on 17" wheels.

Because i dont tire of saying it as many times & on as many threads as possible :)

I just ordered an Estate version of the fabia monte carlo.the tech.

I had signed up to the non tech version but the tech is too good a deal.

At no time were any of them mentioned as being a "combi" though which is a little confusing.

My monte estate is coming with 17" wheels.

Combi is Europe, Estate UK.

When you read Press Releases about 'Combi' you can probably be sure the spec does not always apply to UK cars.

All Colours may not be available for order here at Launch, wheel size different, maybe even options different.

From the post of another Press Release the other day,

Does the Fabia Monte Carlo Tech Eastate come with Leather interior?

Or part Leather, or Leather trim pieces?

george

Cheers George, clears up the combi stuff, it gets combilicated he he.....ill get my coat!!!

The Tech estate comes with fabric seats only, & only Black seats available, apparently all of the techs have black seats.

The tech estate leather is just leather on the steering wheel, handbrake, gear stick.

& no black roofs on the estate, i actually had to point that out to the sales guy but he checked it out & it is the truth.

The colours get a bit tricky

The tech is only available in white red or black, red & white are solid colours, black is extra as it is mettallic.

The normal monte estate comes in more colours but i cant remember which ones were/werent included.i think Meteor Grey & silver might not have been available.

Fabia may be due for replacement soon, but I like the look of that. :)

Boss changes order of Scout for a Monte Carlo

I like,

but if the Scout was available with an Autobox i think would have had one.

Always good to have a collection of Fabia's Monte, RS, & Scout! :)
