After market stereo and parking sensors

Featured Replies

Hi all picked up my new fabia 3 estate yesterday, which I'm loving very nice little car, and I did do a quick search but couldn't find the answer I'm looking for.

I have an after market blue tooth/hands free head unit I'd like to fit from my old car, but am worried that the parking sensors may stop working as the sound seems to come from the cars speakers?

Cheers guys

There should be a separate speaker for the PDC in the lower part of the B-pillar on the passenger side.

Changing the HU shouldn't effect the beeps at all.

If you have the OPS display at present, it is unlikely that an after market HU will support this (although some do).

Ah cool, not got that so all should be good then , just the dance stereo, cheers for the info KB

If the sensors are factory fitted then you'll have no issues.

Good luck.

Right up date, it does come up on the radio display (dance), my question is if I change it will it then just beep at me or not work at all?

It'll just beep from what I hear from others who have done the same.

Thank you again :)

The factory fitted parking sensors also reduce the volume of the radio when car in reverse gear.
