Hi Guys, Newbie here. Just bought a 2001 Octavia Mk1 Elegance turbo.

after a few bad weeks of motoring. Had a mint Vectra cdti unnning @ around 175bhp.

Fancied a change and swapped it for a bmw. Didn't look over it properly and the head gasket had gone. the previous owner disappeared

into the moonlight with my Vectra and was nowhere to be found :-(

cut my losses with it and got a megane 1.6vvt. What a pile of crud. like a slug.

So took the plunge and bought the octy. shes been remapped, induction kit, cat bk exhaust system, dump valve, 18" audi wheels.

Its a real nice car, it pulls well and im happy with it, so hopefully some trouble free motoring with the crap few weeks ive had
