Hi,

the fuse for the fan/air condition needed to be replaced on my Skoda Yeti and unfortunately i dropped the fuse before I had a look on what size it was (ampere).

In the manual you can only see the positions for the fuses and a table for the coloring codes. There is however no information about the fuse size for each position.

Hence, I cannot find the information about what size it should be on the fan fuse (position 5)?

Anyone who knows what size it should be or could check it on your own Yeti?

The colour of the fuse denotes its current rating:

 

Light Brown 5A

Brown  7.5A

Red  10A

Yellow  15A

Blue  20A

White  25A

Green  30A

Orange  40A

 

According to the online owners handbook (this may well be for UK specification only), it is fuse position 5 in the dash fusebox, rated at 40A.  This is quite a high rating so I would suggest that you find out the reason why this fuse has blown.
