Octavia beahaving badly

Featured Replies

Hi,

New to the website so I hope this makes sense to someone out there...

My Octavia 1.6 Ambiente is running like a complete dog. I had this sort of problem last year and I replaced the spark plugs.. This seemed to sort out the issue, Yesterday I replaced the spark plugs again, yet it is still running really bad.

I know I have a slight water leak coming out of the Thermal unit, nothing too bad and the car has never overheated.

The car is near on worthless now so do not want to put it in the garage to rack up a large bill.

Does anyone have any ideas that I could try?

Cheers

Welcome to the forum.

You really need to get VCDS diagnostic done as it could be many things causing the problem. There's bound to be a member near you who can help you out.

Coolant temp sensor, Coilpacks, & MAF sensor are probably the most common failures on VAG cars.
