Brake fluid renewal - does the clutch need doing too?

Featured Replies

Alright guys and gals,

Brake fluid renewal is due in the next couple of months, having dome some reading I will probably pick up an Eezibleed and do it that way.

My main query is, do i need to bleed from the clutch as well? The Haynes manual suggests that the clutch should always be done alongside the brakes, but I've also read comments that if there isn't any issue with the clutch itself then it can be left out?

I've also read some conflicting information over the order which each calliper should be bled in, however given that i'll be bleeding them all I take it im right in assuming that i should start with the calliper furthest from the fluid reservoir and then work my way back towards it?

Cheers for the help as always
