Anyone else getting a Flat spot when you try to pull away? Also when you take your foot off the accelerator and then back on again (when going around roundabouts) Anyone?

I thought that was just the downside of having a 60ps motor.

Mine is the 75ps ASG! And it's driving me mad.......................

Being serious though, I haven't noticed anything. Could it be ASG related?

Yes,the ASG does have some quirks apparently,try 'auto gearbox' in the search box and see what comes up.Go on the up! owners website and look there as well.

Yep - probably an ASG quirk.  It does tend to decide its going to do a gearchange just as you want to accelerate...

Ours does that as well, and on slip roads joining a motorway - we took it in to dealer as wife thought it was dangerous but no fault found and another car in their stock exactly the same, put down to quirk of ASG, can get over it by putting foot down hard and quick to 'kick-down' - get used to it after a while, either that or gearbox improves when run in.

 

Do you have Citysafe option? Try turning it off and see what happens then - be interested to see your comments.

HI there, no sorry i don't have that option. Mine came as is from dealer, it was an ex-demo, when you consider it's the Elegance (supposed to be top of the range) there is not a lot on it?...............
