Suspension refresh

Featured Replies

Our mk1 has now done around 80,000miles and the shocks are starting to show there age,

It's a 90bhp tdi est, so no rocket ship!

Really after some advice as to what to fit and where to buy from?

Depends what you use the car for mate you thinkin coilovers or uprated springs or just standard replacment?

The car is just used for general running around, shopping etc.

Wouldn't mind it a little firmer than standard, but it might be soft due to mileage done.

I changed mine out for Prosport coilovers. Fitted new top mounts, bearings and bump stops at the same time. Drives lovely now :)

From what you've said I'd say go for a good quality springs and shocks kit.

Did you have a budget in mind?
