Maybe a silly quetion, but i havent ever had the standard airbox in my car, and have no idea what it looks like, plus does anyone know where i can get one from?

I have a standard air box not being used and cant see me putting it back on.

I honestly wouldnr run anything other than stock, its just not worth it . No performance increase (even at hybrid levels its small), no noise increase, and £ per service life is marginal.

No noise increase are you serious? I've put a cone filter and the car sounds nothing like it did before, can here the turbo spooling andd it chatters when I let off the throttle.

Not to mention it sounds a lot beefier

Agree with tom, the sucking noise it makes is awsome and the let off on boost is my guilty pleasure now.

I find myself constantly to be in second gear touching the throttle joe lol

Dont get it in second on mine although i used to with my k&n panel, its in 3rd and stupidly loud in 4th.

Pd160 and a pipercross panel filter do the trick for me :)

red and green deffo be seen ;)

Same as you Joe, mines really loud in 3rd and 4th, just had my mate in the car and he was asking about a dump valve lol.

We just fitted a cone to his fiesta TDCI, he said it dumps like mine, will be going for a spin in his tomorrow :)
