Vrs running rich

Featured Replies

Hi, any help or ideas

My 2002 Vrs smells like it's running rich. The tip of the exhaust is also black with the odd puff of blue smoke. I've just changed one of the breather pipes under the manifold and checked the y shaped pipes for splits and noticed that it was dirty with oil. The valve cover gasket does need to be changed which will be done over the next few weeks. Could it be this or an oxygen sensor etc.  Thanks

Any codes ??

No codes have come up. Have now taken all breathers off and given then a good clean. Seems to be better but will order new valve cover gasket once payday is here.
