Brake pad replacement

Featured Replies

i need to replace the pads on my 1.9tdi, any ideas as to a decent set but not mega bucks.

i dont mind paying around

just get some big name decent pads from your local specialist, they will be able to point you in the right direction. probably a lot cheaper than the dealer too

Greenstuff or redstuff.

thanks guys

:finger: If you are doing the rear brakes you will have to use a caliper windback tool or you will break the handbreak mechanism

cheers mate, but im buying the pads and giving em to the local garage.

id proberbly make a whole lot of mess.

cheers anyway.

I'll echo TaviaRS's suggestion - EBC Redstuff or Greenstuff.

Greenstuff aren't much more expensive than OEM pads, and should be OK for road use (rumour has it that they melt or catch fire on trackdays :( ) Greenstuff rears are around
