Hi, I have just ordered a Superb 170 DTI DSG L&K in petrol blue, purely from the colour in the brochure.

 

The colours are never true to life though and I have time to change my mind of the colour yet before it gets locked in at the factory so I was wondering if anyone has any decent hi res photos of a superb or any car in this colour that they could post here so I could see it better?

This is my Greenline in Petrol Blue. You can see how the colour can vary with differing light. I absolutly love the colour. Also dirt doesn't show up too much

I instantly knew this was the colour to have. It reminded me of my first Skoda I bought. My brand new 2003 Octavia Elegance PD130. She was Admiral Blue.

It works OK, do you have any close up's?

RichieJ's pictures are very nice but illustrate perfectly the challenge of reliably photographing any of the current Skoda colours. They seem to come out looking quite different from what you see in the metal. My car is also petrol blue, but as RichieJ says, it looks different depending on the light. Overall I'd say it's lighter than the photos show, and with a very slight hint of green from some angles. It's a very understated colour in my view.

That is the only picture I have seen of my car at the Gaydon meet...and it's not the blue one
