I currently have a poly dog bone bush, but want to change it for a standard rubber one.

 

Tried looking online but can only find whole new dog bone mounts, not just the bush. Is just the rubber bush available from Skoda or elsewhere (motorfactors? Not listed on ECP) or will I have to get a whole new mount?

Go on psi tuning and look for the ecs dog mount kit I think it's around thirty quid but is good is stiffer

IIRC, the whole mount is around £50 retail. The mount for the 130 is different from most other Mk1 Octavias. All the parts have the same number, but the one you need has suffix 'R'.

I don't want stiffer. I currently have a red Powerflex one and it shakes the can on idle, so want to go back to a standard bush.

Sure one of the others isn't a tad mullered

how long as it been on? can take a few hundred miles to settle down.

Also how tight is the bolt. Mine was horrid until we loosened it, what a difference.

It's been on for a fair few thousand of miles. Might try loosening the bolt.

Should be tightened to 15nm/s I think, will check now.
