where's the ipod mounted?

Sorry i have only just seen this thread again!

I havent mounted the ipod yet but i think i will mount it in the glove box in a sleeve as the HU can scan throught he tracks independantly i think!

I think thats right you have to use the HU to change tracks on the ipod as the wheel doesn't work when its connected.

I'd be interested to see pics of the ipod mounted in your glovebox, hurry up and fit it!

ha ha at the mo mate there is a lot of things going on with my car that is needing attention as soon as i fit it ill let you know!

It doesnt come with the cradle etc. but it has the ability within the unit to process/manage all the files (not all that common If memorey serves)

so what you using to hold the ipod? just loose in the glove box?

Personally I use my service pack book to weight it down - does the job great without having to faf about if I need to remove it
