SatNav query

Featured Replies

Is there any way I can review my planned route on the Columbus. On my Garmin it was possible to 'scroll' through the whole planned route so you got an idea which way it was taking you.

I will be driving through France soon and would like to check if it is going to take me through or around Paris BEFORE I get there!

thanks

Martin

Martin.S, I do not know exact answer to your question - would also like to know.

But there is a workaround: just enable multiple route proposal (not sure what's the option name in English), and you'll be able to see up to 3 different routes onscreen, then choose one (this option is available on 5238 FW I now have, and, AFAIR was also in place on my previous 4024).

Thanks Ste2000

I will take a look and see if I have that option

Press the "scale" button bottom right and the second right button shows the full route on the display. To see a turn by turn list, press map, change the displayed list to turn by turn, press the bottom one and a full list is displayed that you can scroll through

Multiple route options (display three routes) gives fastest, shortest and most economical routes.

Scrolling through the list of turn by turn instructions is the best way of doing it.
