What sort of affect will a remap have on the clutch life on the MKII? (Other comments on components welcome).

 

I'm looking at a MKII which has had an R-tech remap, to the tune of 250BHP and 300lb/ft.

 

They seem to have a good reputation from a quick Google, but I'm interested in how the clutch copes with the increase in torque.

A Mk2 Octavia TFSI?
I am running APR Stage 2+ (approx 270bhp and hopefully in excess of 300 lb ft) at the moment on the standard clutch with seemingly no ill effects.
