More fettling, wheels now anthracite

Featured Replies

I wasn't at all happy with (a while ago) some damage I had on my cill, accidental damage.

Had a lot of help from the old man, with some expert knowledge of repair (getting the shape perfect, mostly lifting the metal back but a little filler also).

However it still had some improvement, it looked a lot better than it did (with what could have been more golf ball sized dents and after we had finished last time about yr ago or so left it with much less deviation, but as they say how good a job is down to the time you are prepared to spend).

Well after deciding to spend about a man day on it (after having left it 12 months or so since last time) its now practically perfect, well I've some polishing in to do as its still a tiny bit out of flush (but closer to microns now than millimetres)

I have coincided with rferb touching up my Spiders in anthracite (after having recently also done the front cupra spoiler, oh and lowered springs). To say I'm happy with the improvement (and repair) is an understatement !

Looks lovely. Love these in yellow

Cheers mate, to be honest I've always been dead jealous of black....the SE Blue is very nice of course, but given a choice I'd deffo have black as my next choice !

Red and silver next, but definitely black first then SE!

You can "grow" off the yellow, although with the mods actually does for me what it always should have been - which is mean looking, not too understated and a bit frumpy which to be honest is what the stock wheels in silver do to it on a yellow car.
