Skoda Yeti wiring

Featured Replies

Hello, I am Tony  and owner of a three year  old 2 litre diesel. Love the car .the driving, seats etc. but disappointed  today to find out that my alarm system will not work because there is wear of 4 wires  in the driving door and one in the passenger door.

I am told this is a common fault, although I had not heard of it previously. Makes  me very disappointed  that Skoda obviously know of the problem but had not recalled cars in to replace the loom.

Tony

Welcome :). Sorry to hear of your troubles :(

Don't know how common it is.  I don't recall seeing it on this forum before now.

Apparently ,according  to people who did the diagnosis they are seeing more cases of this.

Hi and welcome aboard.

I too have not heard of that happening before

Not heard of this either. Since the yeti shares many components with the octavias I'd have thought it would have been more apparent given the number of octavias sold.

Hi, welcome aboard.

Hi Bensgrampy!  It might be worth posting this query in the Yeti section, to get the widest appropriate audience...

Welcome.

Anybody knows the OEM part number for the driver' side door loom please?

Unfortunately I'm having the same issue...I've actually managed to partially repair it but I've now got an airbag warning light on the dashboard (another wire broke?) so I'm thinking of replacing the loom all together...

I have found several part numbers but I'm not sure which one I should be getting

Any help will be highly appreciated
