i had better last year, when the stereo got nicked from my focus i used my radio from building sites and just stuck it in the hole in the dash

few years ago i saw a family with each person haveing their own walkman in this montego! lol

My 6-month old alpine deck developed a loose connection between the faceplate and the unit, so has been left with the fitter for warranty repair, which means I'm subjected to this for probably a couple of weeks. I might drive the scimitar instead, at least that has a working radio. But it drinks like George Best and one of the exhausts is falling off, so don't want to drive it too far!!! Hmmm, might have to blag my old dear's A6 4.2 quattro for any long journeys... purely for the lack of radio in my own car, of course...

I had to wait several months for a new centre console for my old Tipo after it got broken into years ago - in the meantime I dangled a small radio-tape machine from a cord round the headrest of the passenger seat. No photos but it would have run you a close second!
