Front or rear?

Rear

it unclips but can be pretty tought to remove. I beleive you need a OEM blade to replace it.

Just pull it. It's quite tough but it will just pop out. OEM blade is about £6 from skoda shop.

Is there no way to fit a flat blade wiper on the rear??

I think you need to either fit a polo wiper arm or pay £15-£20 for the Fabia Bosch Aero.

Question you need to ask is how often do you use your rear wiper?

I think uprating the front wipers to Bosch Aero is a massive improvement over standard in terms of visibility and ultimately safety on the road, but the rear one I am not so sure the expense is worth it.

I bought the one I linked previously and it performs perfectly for what I feel is little cost.

Just my opinion in the matter :)

I use my rear wiper about once a week at most, that may increase over the winter

But every time I do, the current one rubs against the rear window and makes a screeching sound

If its making that noise you need a new wiper. It's upto you which one you choose though lol.
