selective door locking or what?

Featured Replies

I;ve heard of some function wich operate like this: when you press first time on the remote it opens only the drivers door and second time opens all doors. What is this function called, and its possible to activate on an O2 2008??

Yes you can along with anti hijack (doors all lock when you reach 10mph). Personally I find it annoying and was the first thing I turned off when I got my car.

When you have time, can you tell me wich is the exact byte and then bit modification, because to it doesnt show the long coding explications, dont know why although I have both 1K0-959-433-MAX.clb and 1K0-959-433-MIN.clb label files

Unfortunately probably because you have a fake cable.

Oh and it may be different for different controllers.

Blindly ticking boxes that you have no idea what they do can be a very dangerous game and can easily screw up your car.

Giving people Byte and Bit info is all well and good when you have the long code helper to confirm what you are doing, when you are doing it blind they may not activating the same things,

ATEOTD your software is hacked so you could be doing ANYTHING, thats a pretty big risk IMO… but it’s your car.

IIRC Ross tech encrypt the label files etc. to stop other people/software using them. This could be why its not working if your software is hacked.

Got it. But its very strange that all the modules works and have label files only the engine module (doesent have it at all) and the Central Conv module (have it but dont work on long coding).

If someone has been messing with the software in order to make it work with a fake cable it is perhaps not surprising that the result is not perfect.
