KESSY to be or not to be!

Featured Replies

Hi,

On the www.skoda.ie configurator when building a Superb Combi, DSG, 2.0TDI the KESSY option is listed as €0 (Free of charge) just like warranty, spare wheel etc.

Today my dealer tells me that the web is a mistake and should be extra @ €508 - AFTER THEY ACCEPTED MY ORDER from my leasing company.

At the moment they are not moving on it, I feel they should!

Unless the agreement is signed by them then it is not set in stone I'm afraid.

They didn't quote you at zero, and they didn't accept your order for KESSY at no cost so why should they honour it??

It is a nice feature though....

Sure is.

Skoda IE run the website and I'm sure it will say somewhere that it is for guidance only.

The dealer is a completely separate company and is not liable for any errors/omissions on the website. Your agreement is with the dealer.

You have to get it though - A realy wonderful addition to motoring.  That,Cruise Control and DSG  are my not 3 must haves!  Take it up with Skoda directly  - they have the power to make an offer via a dealer.

Wait for it. If the car hasnt been planned in yet in production they may remove it from the order.

Anyhow: It is a really nice extra. But the price of 500 Euro is huge. In Germany you pay after discount including taxes 330 Euro
