Unfortunately no one else seems to have tried the new 80 mm. Skoda badge, from the tailgate of a 2012 Skoda Fabia 5J (mrk2)

 

Well, I did! (on my mrk1 Fabia fra 2007)

 

And it fitted perfectly in the recess of the front-grill. Much better than the new 90 mm. badge you can buy!

 

I've searched all over the web for weeks, to find answers about the new badge, but everybody has obviously fitted the new 90 mm. badge, which doesn't fit in the recess of the grill, and instead sits on top of it. Right?

 

Maybe it's just me, but I've found 5 or 6 mrk1 Fabia's with the new 90 mm. Skoda badge - why?

The new 80 mm. looks so much better on a mrk1 Fabia imho.

I've paid £16,35 (or 19,17 Euro) for the front badge, and now I've just ordered the exact same for my tailgate. So £32,70 for both!

 

I live in Denmark, and the tax is high over here, lol...  So maybe you can find it cheaper in the UK.  ;o)

So is everyone using the new rear badge on the front? is it worth replacing the steering wheel one as well (hoping i dont get air bagged ...)

That's it, mk2 Fabia rear badge on the front and rear of our mk1 Fabias.

As for the steering wheel badge I've got a 'VRS' badge gel overlay

Looks like the B/W Vauxhall badge if you ask me, much perfer the original.

I agree tbh! But the green is a terrible contrast to my black and red theme. Think I'm going to customise the new badges
