Photoshop request.... Please! Plus Q's re laminex on headlights

Featured Replies

Could any one photoshop the below image with a black grill surround and smoked 'laminex' style headlights please?

Also, is it legal for headlights to be laminxed with a smoke grey tint?  I have Zenons if that makes difference?

Also, any chance of a second image, as above, but to include the wheels in the same white as the car?

I'd be very grateful to see what this looks like ;)

Hello Sko,

Try these. I don't have enough time to match the wheels better to the car colour, but it should give you an idea of the look.

No idea about the legality of tinting the headlights. Google likey will answer that one.

Enjoy,

Bob

Thanks Bob, that's brilliant, much appreciated

I thought about the option of tinting my lights. But then thought against it due to the fact it's a bit hypocritical to have xenons, which are brighter than std lights then to make them worse by tinting the lens.

Dot get me wrong it would be properly cool, but why have a 700 quid option to then make it pointless.

That would be the dark tint

They do a subtle which isnt as dark

They do a blue to which could be cool on white, its a light

Defo the grill looks wicked :) thats where u should start mate

The silver in lights will still go with the rim protectors to

Yes, don't want to go too dark, so a subtle tint would be nice ;)

Got to get the grill sorted though!

Many thanks,

Well I like it, and that's the main thing :)  still have a few things to sort out though, and possibly a change to, or of, the wheels ;)

Try fly eye wrap for your head lights it will give you a light tint affect and because its perforated you only lose 5% lighting plus it MOT accepted

I doubt fly eyes will be up to your high standards Martin.

Its the up close look that lets it down, I'd only ever consider it for rear lights

personally. And I have used both in my time.

I'd say Lamin X (Genuine not ebay copy) is the best product you can use for

this. When applied well it's hard to spot it's not oem.

Genuine Lamin X also has a breathable property so if there are any

tiny bubbles of air or water underneath (it happens) they will come out by

themselves after a week or two. I'd go no darker than 'Subtle tint' for headlights

to keep light output as high as poss, provide the tinting effect, and avoid the

attentions of the fuzz.

And again but on a Fab
