VRS Might go solo

Featured Replies

I was in the dealers today arranging the collection of my new VRS FAbia and in the conversation we had up came two topics of conversation.

This might be a re-post of old information; I don't know...

The first was that Skoda is now making over 80% of the engines for VW; apparently their failure rate is less than the German made engines.

The second is Skoda is considering releasing the VRS as a separate range i.e. as in Lexus.

I'm not sure how true any of this is! He said he'd just come back from a VW organised trip in the mother-land...

Personally I'm not sure!!!! :rubchin:

Damn. If only I'd waited ....

i dont see that happening to be honest, i can see that the vRS being in a seprat booklet but not another vw sister, .... mind you they should have doen that ages ago with the whole vRS fabia, octavia..etc rather than a skoda fabia vrs , octavia etc...

I was under the impression that the vRS was a car in its own right...

On many websites, the Fabia then goes into all the derivatives except the vRS, and then the Fabia vRS is listed separately...

Nooooooooooooo....

people should b proud its a skoda! :)

I read somewhere that Lexus were considering dropping "Lexus" lights as they were no longer exclusive items!
